been a long time

been a long time since i have been on here. just a little update my baby girl is six months old. she is getting so big so FAST. she got the crawling thing down and moved right on to pulling her self up to fruniture, and trying to walk.
I am working at the Diamond Gallery in logan. and i love it. its a bonus that i am the manager. i do work alot of hours but compared to where i was working its lots better.
mandy just finished another semester at utah state. i am glad that she is getting to go to school full time. and being able to stay home with hayden.
well i will be uploading new photos. so take a look.

Hayden has learned the army crawl. i dont think that there is any stopping her now. let the fun times begin.

we decided to break out the old bouncer and see if Hayden would like to play in it. well lets just say she was a happy little bouncing baby, who was mad that we took her out of it. i cant believe that she is getting so big.

full time status

after long debate and many frustrating days at work with management. they have finally decided to make me full time. yahoo... starting next week i will the the new full time flooring specialist at the Logan home depot. man i cant tell you how nice it will be to have full time status, and to get paid holiday, sick, and personal days. as well as health insurance. i hope that this is a good thing and that all the stress at work will filter away. wish me the best of luck.

floating the narrows

we went and floated the narrows the other day with all of Mandy's family, it was fun and quite the experience. there was allot of dunking people, seaweed throwing, and splashing... when we got to the end of the river, a few of us decided to go bridge jumping i was surprised the water was still high enough that you didn't really touch bottom. it was fun to spend time with family, and to enjoy a good day out in the sun.

new update

well, its been a while since i have updated. things have been going really good. i am working at the Logan home depot as the flooring specialist. its been good, as well i have been helping my brother doing some log furniture stuff, when i have time.

Mandy is going to school again this semester, and we have it so she isn't having to work, which is nice it allows her to be home with Hayden. and to have time to study. she has been really busy the last few weeks, she has been watching caydon, and Kyla her niece and nephew which has kept her going 110 miles a hour lol...

my baby girl is getting so big, i cant believe that she is 11 weeks old. and she already thinks that she needs to be going with the big kids and gets pissed off when she cant lol... she has been sleeping through the night(sweet) and is full of smiles all the time. and she is spoiled rotten thanks to grandma(tami, jill, and sue) and uncle Stuart and aunt Amelia don't help either... but that is what we wanted when we moved is to be closer to family, so they could love and adore her and she could get to know them...

had a little bit of a frustrating day today. the real estate agent for the buyers of my house, decided that he didnt think the house would appraise for what we were asking for so he wanted to with drawl the offer. which means that i would be at ground zero again. so we got it worked out that i would pay for the appraisal and they would have the ability to walk away from it if it dosent appraise for the asking price or we can redo the offer for what it comes in at. can you say FRUSTRATING.... oh well on a better note we went and test drove some new cars there are allot of nice things about going brand new. and then some down falls. but all in all i like the Mercedes that we drove it was nice and had a purr.... lol but we cant do anything until the house is finalized anyway. ugh i can dream though right...
being here in utah is going good, we are loving being close to family and letting them get to know family... i think that it has been good for my mother and Mandy's mom to have a little baby to be close with and to watch ( it helps pass the time)... getting to do a cook out this weekend and i work saturday at nine. at the homedepot it will be my first day at the logan store which in its self is kinda scary but it will be ok...
my little girl is getting so big, and is finally sleeping through most of the night which is really nice she is sleeping from around 9-10 at night till 5 or 6 then eats and sleeps till 10 i dont know how i got to be so lucky. she also has finally stopped changing eye color for a while anyway she got my blue eyes that go from navy to ice blue, there really pretty.... and i can believe how big she has gotten she is huge lol... and she is starting to smile and making noises its fun to watch something grow like that.... can you tell i am a proud parent...

the move.

mandy and i are finally back in utah we are living in smithfield for now in mandys moms basement. my house is under contract. it was on the market and we got an offer the night before we moved back. i have the inspection on it tomorrow and the apraisal on friday as long as it all goes good it will be sold very soon. thank goodness... we are going house hunting tomorrow as well we have found a few here in smithfield that we are going to look. just to see what is out there on the market. i start at logans homedepot on saturday and i am excited and just a little nervous, not sure how they run it here, and worried about some drama, hope that its not as bad as it was in phoenix.
hayden is getting so big i cant believe it. and she did such a good job on the long 13 hour drive that it took us to get from phoenix to logan. and even the dogs did good with a little help with a tranqulizer lol.

were moving back HOME!!!

well we are moving HOME!!!, we have recently put our house up for sale, i put in for a transfer to the logan store, and it was accepted, so me and my family are moving home. we have family coming down on the 24 of july, and we should be heading back on the 26th of july. we will be living in smithfield. we are curently looking at some homes there, but cant do anything until my house sells here in arizona. it will be really nice to be back and close to family, im sure that the grandparents and aunts and uncles of my little girl will be excited to see her grow up. it has been an eye opener for me and mandy (living down here) we have really realized how nice it is to have family close by, even if there is alot of drama. all the good tends to outway all the bad.

1 month

well my baby is 1 month old tomorrow. cant believe that i has gone by so fast, at this rate by next week she will be 16. added some new photos today of the rest of the work on the nursery.

Mandy started her new job at the home depot on Monday and likes it. she is going to be a cashier at the same store i am working at. it makes it nice because they are working around our schedule so we don't have to have a sitter.

alot of things have been happening with us and to us the last few months which have made things a bit of a struggle but hopefully things work out soon. we are talking about selling our house here and moving back home, but we will have to see. we love it here in AZ. the weather is always nice, and we never get snow in this part of the valley which is always a plus... the people here are so nice and we really don't miss the cache valley drama, but being away from family has been hard for the both of us, and it was even harder having them come out and see us and Hayden then having to go back.

we went to to the park the other day and had my mom take some photos of Mandy Hayden and I they turned out really cute. i took them into photo shop and did some image work to make them unique check them out in my slide show.

family

well just thought that i would give another update. my little girl is now two weeks old, she has gained a pound, and thinks that she should already be up and moving. she has figured out how to roll to her side, and she is holding up her head really well ( at this rate she will be dating when she is four). we have had some family here, and we have mandys mom with us right now. she is getting to love on her new grandbaby and is helping mandy out alot. they have been working on cards and scrapbooking, and getting vinyl letters on the wall for the nursery. i have a feeling that when all the family has come and gone and its just me mandy and hayden that mandy is going to miss family and start talking about moving back. lol. we will see. we love phoenix alot and things are getting better here for us, and its starting to feel alot more like home.
i am still at homedepot, and mandy just got hired on at my store as well so we will be working together( well opposite shifts) that way we dont have to have a sitter for a little while.

these are here first photos taken at home. i set up my studio in my loft and took some photos. she is now three days old. she is so sweet. i am so blessed to have her as my own child. she is a blessing, a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
her jaundice is going away slowly but its going away. she is doing good. she likes to eat all the time and some times she cant get enough. lol. but all is well.
we have had some family up at the house the last couple of days and i have to tell you that it has been a blessing to have them there so we can spend our time with hayden and not have to worry about what needs to be cleaned or cooked, as well when we need a little break its always nice to have someone who would just love to hold her. so i do have to say thanks to my family. you all mean alot to me and my family.

our little girl has arrived, she was born on june 3,2009 at 1: 18 pm she weighed 7lbs 14 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. both hayden and mandy are doing great and we should be going home on june 4th in the later afternoon.

only three more weeks to go until the baby is here. i worked a little bit more on the nursery this week i got the shelf in. and some things up. i got the decorations for Mandy for mothers day, since she is a mommy to be i thought i would get her things for our baby to be. lol. we have been going to the doctor every week. and last week when we went Mandy was dilated to a one. the doctor says that is a good thing that it means she is moving along on track and maybe a little early. i sure cant wait to have the baby here. i am getting way excited to have her here

today i took the chance to relax at home and get some of the yard work done that has needed to be done since we moved into the house six months ago. i had planted grass and just as i had

given up on the chance that it had grown... it decides to sprout in full force.

i decided while i was out there i would trim down some of the bushes that have been over grown since we moved in but in bloom so we couldn't trim them they are looking good but very little compared to what they used to be. i am so glad that it is finally starting to look like a yard (where people live) instead of an empty vacant lot. lol.

Mandy and i were planning on spending the day together since its one of the only that we both have off from work. but she got called into work. but all is well it gives me a chance to chillax at home and take a nap. Mandy hasn't been sleeping well the last week or so because its uncomfortable which means i don't sleep good. its a good thing that we only have about 4 weeks left before our little Hayden Alexis arrives.

took bailey for a walk today, i decided to be brave and let her go off leash, and i tell you what a surprise she played in the park with me AND DIDN'T RUN AWAY... she stayed with me. so with he being so good i decided to try it on the way home. and she followed me. many of you know that she has had aggression with other dogs and when they started barking at her today she huffed but she didn't take after them. as well everyone knows that the being off leash thing is huge. the last time she got off leash i had to chase her a mile. i am so glad that she has finally gotten out of her shell. she has such a personality now. oh and she can tell that Mandy is prego and she has to smell everything that we have gotten for the baby to make sure that its OK. its so funny.

just went to the doctor today, just for a checkup for the baby everything is going good her heart sounds good, well from what the doctor could hear, the baby would not stop moving and she kept kicking at the sonogram machine so all we could really here is swish swish thump. it was pretty funny. we are told that we should be right on track as far as the due date which is June 5Th. Mandy is hoping that she can have her a little early to prevent stretch marks lol.

the nursery

we have had many requests from people that want to see the nursery. so here are the photos of the room. keep in mind i still have a lot of work to do to it still i need to add shelving above the crib, finish off the windows, the curtain, and get Mandy a rocker glider chair. but i still wanted to post some photos of it. all the bedding and material we got from sew and save in Ogden and made it our self (with alot of help from Mandy's mom) but i think that it turned out way nice. we don't have long before our little bundle of joy arrives. but i think that we have almost everything that we need. hope you all enjoy.

just wanted to give an update. mandy and i are enjoying the arizona weather we have been in the triple digits the last couple of days but we are supposed to be cooling off for a week or so. we have been keeping cool by going to the pool in the morning and swimming laps. we are working on the house and getting ready for the little one to arrive. i am almost done with the nursery and we have most everything for when our little bundle arrives. i am attempting to plant grass this week, man i hope that this will work i hate the gravel that we have now, as well we have planted a garden and being that i haven't been through an arizona summer i am just hoping that it stays alive. i have started a job at home depot and i love it i am working in the flooring department nothing new there lol, except that it is a good job and I'm liking the people that i work with. the only down part is i see everything that is on sale and i keep thinking man i need that in my house...... and mandy saying no we don't need that in our house.... lol
